First week of Field Trip-Trip to Da Jia Noodles Headquarters and Ah Tsong’s Taro Culture Museum

A Memorable Day Trip to Da Jia Noodles Headquarters and Ah Tsong’s Taro Culture Museum
Recently, students from Cornel International School enjoyed an unforgettable day trip to Dajia, visiting The Noodles Headquarters and Ah Tsong’s Taro Culture Museum. This enriching experience offered students a hands-on opportunity to learn about traditional crafts and local culture.

Our journey began with a guided tour of the Noodles Headquarters, where students observed the traditional noodle-making process. Under expert guidance, they tried their hands at making traditional paper-rolled noodles, immersing themselves in the craft with great enthusiasm.

During lunchtime, we savored delicious rice rolls. The students shared their experiences and insights about noodle making, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere.

Next, we visited Ah Tsong’s Taro Culture Museum, where we delved into the history and cultural significance of Dajia taro. In the DIY taro pastry session, students made four taro pastries each, enjoying the process of creating traditional delicacies.

This day trip not only provided valuable knowledge but also deepened students’ appreciation for traditional culture through hands-on practice. A big thank you to all the participating students and teachers for making this trip a success. We look forward to our next exciting adventure!
