Week 5 :2024.07.29~07.31

Week 5 Highlights (Our Final Week of Summer Camp)
In our final week of Cornel International School’s summer camp, students enjoyed a blend of creativity and exploration. This week’s activities combined science experiments, artistic creation, and outdoor fun, bringing a perfect conclusion to the summer camp.

In science class, students learned to make slime using white glue and paint, experiencing the wonders of chemical reactions firsthand. They conducted paper boat weight experiments to explore the relationship between buoyancy and weight. Additionally, the children created beautiful plant prints using leaf printing and made homemade popsicles with ice and salt, enjoying a refreshing treat in the summer heat.

In English class, we recapped the lessons from the previous four weeks and took the students for outdoor activities in the park, allowing them to appreciate the beauty of nature. The children also transformed into little writers and actors, creating and performing their own plays, showcasing their creativity and acting skills.

This week’s activities not only enabled students to learn through hands-on experiments but also allowed them to express their talents in writing and performance.
A big thank you to all the students and teachers who participated in our 2024 Summer Camp. We look forward to more exciting learning adventures in the future!
