Taking advantage of the summer break, we took the kids away from the hustle and bustle of the city and embarked on a journey to connect with nature at Kuihai Leisure Farm. Through the kiln experience, the kids naturally got close to the land and learned to love and respect it. While enjoying this countryside fun, we also explored nature, learning teamwork and craft skills.

Watching the kids bravely step into the muddy ground, digging with all their might, their faces might have been smeared with dirt, but their excitement was unmistakable. Digging, building the kiln, making the fire, baking, and finally opening the kiln – every step was done by the kids themselves, making the food they prepared with their own hands the most delicious!

On the lotus pond, we rowed small boats, chasing and playing on the cool water. When the tide went out, we carefully observed the beach, trying to find traces of small creatures. We believe that this lesson taught by nature itself created a summer full of surprises and growth for the Cornel kids!
