Following last week’s fun-filled classes, we are now welcoming the second week of summer camp with the arrival of summer! Whether facing challenges in the classroom or tackling missions outside on campus, Cornel’s students continue to push their limits and achieve their goals!💪💪💪

🔶️Can you build a tall and stable tower using marshmallows, spaghetti, and yarn?
🔷️You’ve had egg toast from a breakfast store. However, are you able to make delicious cookies shaped like egg toast?
🔶️We showed our confidence on the trampoline by doing the cowboy moves!
🔷️Are you able to use detective skills to figure out who the killer is in the game?
🔶️In our themed English class, we also care about current affairs and develop an international perspective through reading international news.
🔷️Did you know that Central Park used to be an airport before? This week, for our field trip, we started at the Visitor Center in Taichung Central Park. Here, we learned about the history of the Shui-nan Airport and various interesting facts about airplanes. We even transformed into pilots flying a Boeing 737, visiting famous landmarks worldwide!
Next, we headed to Vieshow Cinemas to watch the highly anticipated “Despicable Me 4”! Even if you didn’t understand the Chinese subtitles, the simple plot with English audio helped everyone enjoy the movie while practicing their English listening skills.😆
In the afternoon, with excitement, we arrived at the lush and natural beauty of the Maple Garden. We laid out mats, opened our backpacks, and enjoyed a picnic in the pleasant afternoon, surrounded by nature’s embrace. Everyone joyfully shared a variety of snacks, and after filling up, we went to the lakeside to observe the black swans, becoming observers of nature!

Surrounded by the children’s joyful laughter, we have once again created many cherished memories together! We believe next week will be another extraordinary and exciting week!❤️
