Hello! My name is Kaiti. I am from Washington, in the United States. I graduated from Central Washington University with a major in Elementary Education and minors in Teaching English as a Second Language and American Sign Language. Before teaching in Taiwan I worked as a substitute teacher for grades kindergarten through eighth grade. I also spent a year teaching kindergarten.

While teaching I like to show a lot of enthusiasm for each subject to get everyone excited about what we are learning. I like to have a warm, inviting, and consistent classroom environment for students. It is important that everyone feels they are in a safe environment so that social and academic learning can take place!

When I am not in the classroom I enjoy being outside and exploring new places. Some of my hobbies include hiking, swimming, reading, and playing soccer.
