Qualification:
University of Wisconsin – Bachelors of Elementary Education
Hello!
My name is Daniela Castellon. My pronouns are she/hers and I am a trilingual individual who is fluent in both Spanish, English and French. I identify as Latinx and I am from the United States. Specifically, I am from the state of Wisconsin. My parents are from Central America, respectfully from Mexico and Nicaragua. They immigrated to the United States and settled in a small town called Watertown. Which is where I was born and raised. I am the oldest of four children. I grew up speaking Spanish in a family centered culture and identify as Roman Catholic. I am the first of my family to go to college and obtain a degree in Elementary Education with English as a Second Language certification from the University of Wisconsin- Madison. In addition to receiving my bachelors degree from UW-Madison, I also have an associates degree in Liberal Arts from Madison College. I found my love for teaching very early on in my high school career and absolutely love teaching and working with children, especially emergent bilinguals.
