My name is Elissa Bregman and I am from Orange County, California. I attended Northern Arizona University, and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood. I will be teaching at the Shang An Campus. I have been teaching preschool for six years, in Newport Beach, California and I love it. I am lucky to have grown up close to the beach and have beautiful weather year-round. I love being outside and enjoying the sunshine.

I love to travel and have been all over Europe and can’t wait to explore more. One of my favorite places in Europe to visit was Barcelona, Spain. I even brought back Spanish dresses for my preschool class in Newport for dress-up fun. All the children loved exploring the vibrant colors and delicate fabrics. I look forward to exploring Taiwan and learning about the culture, this will allow me to relate to my students.

As a teacher my first concern is to make sure every child in my class feels safe and loved. At this age I encourage my students to become independent, as this helps with their self-esteem.  I believe if you teach to a high standard the students will rise to the occasion. My overall goal is to have the child love learning and to focus on the whole child.
