Great Knowledge in our Life

Through experiments led by experts, we gained a deeper understanding of the insects that coexist with us in our daily lives (cockroaches/mosquitoes).

Do you know what male mosquitoes eat to sustain their life? And do you know whether it’s the male or female mosquito that bites you most often?

We would like to thank Professor 梁國汝 from the Department of Entomology at National Chung Hsing University (Rainbow Rascal Zayden’s dad) and his team for guiding the children in exploring these unknown areas. During the activity, the professor had us put our hands into a box filled with mosquitoes to see if they would bite us and why. We also caught pet cockroaches and had a cockroach race to see which one ran the fastest.

Finally, we would like to once again thank Professor 梁國汝 from the Department of Entomology for giving us such a unique and special experience!
